My Austrian Dress

Daddy thinks I look like a little Austrian girl in this dress. What do you think? Aunty Tope bought it for me. I think I look very pretty. This picture was taken a couple of months ago, and I don't think the dress fits me any more.

Me and my Baby

I had a baby at Christmas. It was wrapped up in shiny paper. Do all babies come like that?

I have to be careful, because it seems to take less work to look after than me. It doesn't seem to want any food - I did poke some at it, but it didn't open its mouth; it never needs its nappy changed; and it goes to sleep as soon as it lies down. I hope Mummy and Daddy don't like it more than me, and decide to send me back (I think they must have thrown my box away though - so does that mean they can't send me back? And I'll have to chew up my reciept if I can find it)!

It all came tumbling down!

All I wanted was a bauble - just one. So I rolly-pollyed over the floor to the Christmas tree at Granny's and choose the one I wanted. A nice sparkly one that looked like it would taste nice. And I pulled - and the whole tree came down on top of me: I think there must have been something wrong with its roots. I got my bauble though.

My Balloon

I had a balloon for Christmas. It's funny: all my other toys fall on the floor when I push them away. This one goes up in the air.

Aunty Gwen

This is me with my Aunty Gwen on Christmas day. Do you like my Christmas bib? 

Ladies and Gentlemen: my Christmas Present

Tada! Can you guess what it is? I'll tell you. It is a VTech baby zimmer frame (I don't think it's really called that, but you get the idea). It's better than the Zimmer frames I saw in Aunty Iris' house the other day, because it sings, and has buttons for me to press. I'll update you about my progress.

David's wife Christina

This is David's wife Christina. She's a Dancer. So I read her my book about Angelina Ballerina.

This is David. I quite like him. He is Joan's little boy. Quite big though, for a little boy. He lives in Chicago. That's a long way a way - too far for me to crawl, Daddy says. 

Granny's friend Joan

My Granny's friend Joan came to see me (and Mummy and Daddy I suppose) today. She and Granny went to school together. Do you like our Christmas tree? 

Bette

Whilst we were doing the rounds of Tewkesbury (that's where my Mummy used to live) we also visited our friend Bette. She made my Daddy eat lots of Cake (I don't think he minded really!). 

Visiting Aunty Iris

I went to visit my Great Great Aunty Iris today. She lives in a big house with lots of other people her age. I wonder what games they all play? And they all look like they're just learning to walk. Perhaps I could help them? 

My first Christmas Card

I got my first Christmas Card today. And strange things they are too. 

Crawling

I'm learning to crawl slowly (I'll learn to crawl fast next) but it's a hard job. But there are so many things to do at once. Two arms, two legs, make sure head is facing the right way ... its so difficult. Perhaps walking will be easier. 

When Mummy comes home.

Mummy has had to start going back to work again. I miss her a bit in the day (I have some nice people to look after me though) but its so exciting when she comes home.

Lynn and Harry's visit

My friends Lynn and Harry come to visit every now and then. I had a nice time with Lynn this evening. 

Look what I found!

On the left we have me when I was a little baby - one month old to be precise.
On the right, me now that I have grown up: about eight months old!
