Announcing the discovery of a new force: Cuteness
My daddy thinks he has discovered a new force: cuteness. Cuteness works a bit like gravity. For example, I am lying in my pram as mummy pushes me around the supermarket. It is the cuteness that I generate that attracts complete strangers over to ask if they can have a peep.
Sometimes cuteness only attracts the eyes of a person - but it has such a strong grip that they can't take their eyes off me.
Sometimes the cuteness that I make can be so strong that it gets left behind in my carseat, say, even when I'm not there. Once Mummy was carrying me, and daddy was carrying my empty carseat. My cousin Rebekah came along and looked at the carseat. "Ah! Cute!" she said. And I wasn't even there!
Daddy has also invented a new word for when I am generating this force: Cuteing. Cuteing means "generating Cuteness" or "looking Cute"!
Catch the smile!
Mummy and me have been playing a game recently: Catch the smile. Mummy puts me in my Cot and I start smiling at her. Mummy runs to get the camera, and then I stop smiling for a bit. Just when she's given up on getting a picture, I start smilling again, but only for as long as it takes the camera to focus. When the camera takes the picture, I wipe off the smile. Fun! I almost lost the round shown here - see the bits of smile left in my eyes?
